Virginia Placement Test
The Virginia Placement Test must be taken at a NOVA Testing Center. The Manassas Campus Testing Center is located in MH-308.

If you are unsure which developmental math class you need to take, please call Rizza Hansen at 703.530.3027 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. She can help you determine where to start based on your VPT Placement Test scores or previous developmental math coursework.
MASTER Math Testing Room Rules
- No cell phones at any time. If you have your cell phone out during a quiz or a test it is considered cheating. The consequences may include dismissal from the class and a U in the course.
- No headphones during a quiz or a test. Music must be turned off and headphones removed during testing.
- No scrap paper or paper of your own. All quiz or test work must be done on our designated colored test paper.
- Only white multiplication tables may be used on a test or a quiz. The equations on the back of the yellow multiplication table must be memorized for the quiz or test.

The Math Center in MH-211 has 15 computers. All computers are equipped with software used in math courses requested by math instructors.
