Peer Mentoring

Pass The Baton: Peer Mentor Program

PTB logo
Pass The Baton (PTB) is a Peer Mentor Program at NOVA-Woodbridge that links first-year, first-time-to-college students with an experienced second-year student who serves as their mentor. Mentors and mentees are strategically matched in order to best support first-year students in getting acclimated to college life, NOVA, and the Woodbridge Campus. Mentors help connect their mentees to student activities and events, various campus resources, and social experiences to foster a strong start and a well-rounded first year. In addition to the relationship that mentees build with their mentors, the Peer Mentor Program offers group activities to allow both mentors and mentees the opportunity to expand their social networks on campus.
