Welcome to First Year Advising
If you are a recent high school graduate, have never been to college before and are enrolled in an academic program, NOVA’s First Year Advising program is for you. We will connect you with your own First Year Advisor who will help you to Start Strong at NOVA!
First Year Advisors assist you in goal setting, degree selection, academic planning, accessing student services and more. In addition, once you’re ready, your First Year Advisor will connect you with a Faculty Advisor from your academic division who can provide you with ongoing, discipline-specific advising and support.
