Adjunct Job Fair

Purpose: All campuses of Northern Virginia Community College seek qualified part-time faculty members who share the institution’s strategic vision to create educational opportunity for all people as the Gateway to the American Dream. Part-time (adjunct) faculty may teach virtually or in person and are especially needed in the following disciplines:

For many disciplines, a Master’s degree in the discipline or Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. For some disciplines, such as Veterinary Technology, HVAC, welding and more, the minimum qualifications may depend on certifications, education, and/or work experience.

Candidates should have the following required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Ability to use technology to enhance instruction; excellent oral/written communication skills;
  • demonstrated teaching skills;
  • experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at NOVA.
