*Prerequisite: An English Proficiency Testing recommendation for ESL 8 OR ESL 2 and ESL 14 or equivalent. Provides further instruction and practice in helping students to improve listening and speaking skills. Assesses students' oral skills and includes, as needed, practice with pronunciation, rhythm, stress, and intonation. Emphasizes the development of fluency through exercises, practices, small and large group activities, and formal and informal presentations. Credits are not applicable toward graduation. Lecture 3 hours per week.
