| Prerequisite is MTH 241 or MTH 177 or division approval. Provides an overview of the theory and applications of statistical quality control as it relates to manufacturing processes. Discusses flow charts, variable and attribute data, variation, statistical sampling, experimental design, the creation and use of Pareto Diagrams, P-Charts, C-Charts, X-bar and R control charts, np, p, c, and u charts. Lecture 1 hour per week.
