| Presents an introduction to carpentry, with an emphasis on residential/light construction. Introduces basic carpentry terminology. Covers identification and proper use of hand and power tools common to the industry, construction materials, construction techniques, safety precautions, working drawings and the team approach to construction. Lecture 3 hours per week.
