| Covers fundamentals of ophthalmic optics, which includes basic lensometry, ophthalmic lens design and materials, ophthalmic frame materials, and basic ophthalmic dispensing techniques. Also covers the physician and patient relationship, professional liability, and current government regulations. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
