[MENU]     Prerequisite for PHY 231 is MTH 173 or division approval. Prerequisite for PHY 232 is MTH 174 or division approval.     Teaches principles of classical and modern physics. Includes mechanics, wave phenomena, heat, electricity, magnetism,     relativity, solid state, quantum physics, and nuclear physics. Includes extended coverage of selected topics.
