GIS Career Studies Certificate Enrollment Process

  • Apply to NOVA
    • NOVA offers open enrollment for those with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Enroll in either GIS 101 or GIS 200
  • Fill out Program Placement Form (date, name, student ID)

Request for Program Placement
After downloading and filling out the Program Placement form, please email it to Janice Ouellette at jouellette@nvcc.edu.

Transcript Evaluation
  • Students with advanced standing, may receive credit for courses taken at other colleges and universities. Fill out a Request for Transcript Evaluation 125-049 for each college or university. You must be enrolled before evaluation will take place.
