Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

Phi Theta Kappa is the officially recognized honor society for two-year colleges on a national level. Students are invited to join the honor society if they have completed at least 12 credits toward a degree program at NOVA and they have a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.5 or higher. Letters of invitation are automatically sent out to all eligible students at the beginning of the fall semester and again at the beginning of the spring semester.

The student leaders of the Tau Nu Chapter at the Alexandria Campus organize numerous leadership and community service activities throughout the year. Many four-year universities across the country offer Phi Theta Kappa scholarships to members of Phi Theta Kappa.

The Phi Theta Kappa Application Form can be found under the “Forms” link. For more information, visit the Tau Nu Chapter’s website.
