Use this Cost Estimator to make an informed decision about the value of NOVA All Access for you. This helps you compare the cost of required course materials included in NOVA All Access vs purchasing them on your own (new or used). Similar information (customized to your schedule) is also provided in the email you received from Barnes & Noble regarding courses and materials.

If the Cost Estimator shows that All Access costs more than purchasing materials on your own, you may choose to opt out of the program. Students enrolled in courses that use Open Educational Resources (OER) or that do not require course materials may also find that opting out is the more cost-effective option.

If you opt-out, you will need to obtain your textbooks (physical or digital*) on your own from the college bookstore or another source.

*Please note that with NOVA All Access, your digital materials are automatically added to your Canvas course. If you opt-out of NOVA All Access, you will need to purchase and manually add those materials to Canvas yourself.

How to Use:

• This Cost Estimator lists all required materials, physical and digital, as provided to the bookstore by the faculty.
• Be sure to add your ENTIRE class schedule with your specific section as faculty materials' selection may not be same across sections.
• Start by selecting the semester, then selecting a subject, then course/catalog number.
• Be sure to select the correct section which can be found in the Schedule of Classes or in your enrollment confirmation.
• For courses that indicate no materials found this either means the course and section you chose is a new addition and information about the materials is pending or the course and section you chose does not require materials.
• For any additional questions about materials for specific courses and sections, please contact your instructor or the campus bookstore.
