The implementation of accommodations is a shared responsibility between faculty and staff, students, and Accommodations and Accessibility Services. When a student is approved for accommodations, faculty and staff are encouraged to engage in the interactive process with all responsible parties to facilitate effective and efficient services that do not fundamentally alter the nature of a course, program, or service. These resources are offered to aid faculty and staff in their work with students and any others who may interact with NOVA. Faculty and staff are encouraged to contact the office with any requests for assistance as they arise.
