Photography and Media

The Photography and Media program offers a range of courses in lens-based media including Digital and Darkroom Photography and Video Production. Students may complete either an Applied Science degree in Photography and Media or a transfer degree in Visual Arts, and working professionals may learn new skills.

Program Details

The Photography and Media AAS curriculum prepares students for diverse career options in the profession, and the AFA curriculum prepares students for transfer to BFA programs. Working professionals may also add to or update their skills. Students in all PHT classes learn to solve visual problems through the study of technique, history, theory and aesthetics, and completion of individual projects with group critiques.
