The program addresses problem-seeking and problem-solving skills. Importance is placed on conceptual development and integration of form and information for the purpose of effective graphic to include current technological advances. The curriculum is designed for individuals who seek full-time employment in the graphic design field.

Graduates of this program will be qualified to work at design studios and advertising agencies, book and magazine publishing companies, prepress organizations and printing companies, corporate art and marketing graphics companies, and government agencies and freelance design.
