About the Program

The Computer Science program teaches the underlying structure of computers and how to implement processes. Students will learn to develop and implement algorithms in a high-level computer language. Students will also be able to evaluate algorithms for complexity and efficiency while developing critical thinking and mathematical modeling skills vital for solving complex processes.

NOVA's Computer Science Program primarily prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science.
