Career Prospects

The curriculum is designed to combine the principles of accounting with the essential skills of analysis, critical thinking, and information technology. The program is suitable for persons who seek employment in the accounting field or for those presently in accounting who wish to increase their knowledge and update their skills. Job opportunities include accounting trainee, accounting technician, junior accountant, and accountant.

The Accounting program currently offers four pathways for students to pursue; the Bookkeeping Certificate, the Career Studies Certificate (CSC) in accounting information security with data analytics, the Career Studies Certificate (CSC) in accounting, and the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in accounting.
