Really get to know your counselors -- they can be of great assistance to you. Last semester I was taking 16 credits and working 50 hours to help my parent's salon business survive. My counselor kept me on track, making sure I didn't let my education become secondary. NOVA counselors will take the time to meet with you and help you pick classes that best fit your interests.
For me, that includes economics, management and marketing classes. My economics professor is a CPA - he tells us about his personal experiences in the field and how to handle different ethical situations we may come across. It's great because the knowledge our professors share with us is valuable information that goes beyond what's written in books.
