Academic Advising For their first registration, students should work with
a counselor to get started at the College and to declare a major that meets their educational objectives.
Upon declaring a major, students are assigned to a faculty advisor for all subsequent
terms. The faculty advisor will assist in planning the rest of a
student's program. To graduate, a student must obtain certification from
the faculty advisor that all course requirements for the degree or
certificate have been met. All students are encouraged to seek information and
assistance from faculty advisors in career and occupational planning in addition
to curriculum planning.
