EARLY EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEM:
Located through all buildings on Campus is a intercom system that will be activated when an
emergency situation arises. Some examples of emergency situations are( closing of the Campus ; severe
weather ;etc;). The announcement will let everyone know what the emergency is and what to do. The
announcement can be heard inside or outside of the buildings. This early warning system is set up so that
everyone could have time to react and get to a safe area when an emergency happens. When ever you here this
system activated take a moment and listen carefully to what the directions are. Some direction examples are
( take shelter--evacuate the building-etc;). The system will also be activated to tell everyone when it is safe to
return to normal activity.
