1.    Do I have to dissect a fetal pig? ans. All of the Biology 102 courses and the Natural Science first semester course use fetal pig dissections to show students actual internal organs of a live animal.  Students work in groups of four or five precluding the necessity of actual hands on manipulation should a student have a moral or religious reason for not touching swine. Please check with your individual instructor.
2.    Can I wear regular clothes to my laboratory class?  ans. Bare feet, uncovered shoes, and nylon clothing are discouraged.  There are inherent dangers present in any laboratory setting that make certain clothing unacceptable.
