Jane Hamilton is the author of The Book of Ruth, winner of the PEN/Hemingway Award for First Fiction. She also wrote A Map of the World, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, and a major motion picture starring Julianne Moore and Sigourney Weaver. The two books were Oprah's Book Club selections.

Public Reading by Author Joyce Maynard

Joyce Maynard's novel To Die For became a major motion picture starring Nicole Kiddman and Joaquin Phoenix. Ms. Maynard has been a reporter for the New York Times, a magazine journalist, radio commentator, and syndicated columnist. She is the author of five novels.
