» Test
Pass
A test
pass with the instructor's name, course name, course number and designated
test (unit 3, test 4, or chapter 6) from your instructor is required
to take a test in the Testing Center, for all make-up exams, PLS classes,
developmental math, and ELI exams. If your instructor does not give
you a pass, your name may be on the exam, be sure to inquire information
about your exam from your instructor before coming to the Testing Center.
No E.L.I. exams will be given without a test pass.
Exceptions: If you are taking a make-up test, your
instructor may write your name on the test or provide a list of names
to the Testing Center. In this case, you will not need a test pass.
However, you do need to know your instructor's name (Mr. Jones), the
course name and number (History 101), and the chapter or unit test number
(Chapter 3 or Unit 5 or Midterm exam, etc.).
No test pass is needed to take a placement test.
» Picture
ID and Empl ID Number
You must have a picture ID (NVCC ID, driver's license or military
ID, or a personal ID obtained from DMV or a passport with your picture)
with you when you come to the Testing Center. If you do not have a picture
ID, please ask your instructor to contact the Testing Center and authorize
you to take a test without an ID.

» Scratch
Paper
The Testing Center provides scratch paper for Math
students and lined paper for essays. This is the only paper students
may use in the Testing Center, unless an instructor provides paper with
your exam. All paper used must be collected with the exam.
» Scantron
Forms
The Testing Center does not provide Scantron forms
for classroom exams. Please purchase your Scantron forms prior to the
day of your exam from the campus bookstore. If you are taking an exam in the Testing Center then the
proctor will provide a Scantron.
