The Math Placement Test is divided into five levels of material, Pre-algebra, Algebra, College Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Your answers in any particular section of the test will determine how many problems and which sections of the test you will see.

Please review the sample test prior to taking the placement test. This test can be taking only once every three months. Calculators are not allowed. Scratch paper will be provided. Test scores are valid for one year.

The Placement test will not be administered without your Empl ID Number and
a valid photo ID (NOVA ID, Driver's License, Military ID, or Passport).
