The mission of the Testing Center is to offer placement testing to all incoming students, to offer makeup tests for on campus classes (with instructor permission), and to proctor tests for Extended Learning Institute Courses.

Do not forget your picture ID, your Empl ID number, and required test pass if one has been assigned to you.

Special hours may be posted for holidays, semester breaks and Summer Session. Please check "Hours and Closing Dates" for change in hours and closings.

A picture ID and EMPL ID number is required to take any exams in the Testing Center.

Example: Driver's License, Military ID, a passport, or a personal identification card from DMV, and a NVCC Picture ID.

Click on NOVA CONNECT to find your EMPL ID number (student number) and bring this number with you to the Testing Center.

For liability and safety purposes, do not bring children to the Testing Center.  Food and beverages are not permitted in the testing area. All cell phones must be turned off prior to entering the Testing Center.
