  • Labor Day Holiday for Faculty, Staff and Students: September 1
  • Schedule Adjustments with Permission (adds -- in person only; drops -- on NovaConnect): September 2-11
  • Last Day for Schedule Adjustments with Tuition Refund: September 11
  • Last Day to Apply for Graduation: October 1
  • Last Day to Withdraw Without Grade Penalty or Change to Audit: October 31
  • Thanksgiving Holiday for Faculty, Staff and Students: November 26-28
  • Classes and Examinations End: December 21
  • Tuition payment deadline if you register by July 31: August 1
  • Tuition payment deadline if you register July 31or after:
     you must pay your tuition before 5:00pm the next business day or risk being dropped from your class(es).

NVCC will offer hybrid courses at Lifelong Learning Education Center, Building 3088 on Quantico Marine Base. Hybrid courses combine web-based instruction with face-to face instruction, reducing the time spent in the classroom. Students will meet in the classroom on the night listed in the schedule. Students will be given on-line work (the equivalent of 3 classroom hours or work) to complete prior to the next class meeting.
