Enabling 802.1x authentication in Windows 2000
for the NVCC Wireless Network is a three step process. Service
Pack 4 for Windows 2000 includes a 802.1x client much like the
client included with Windows XP. Windows 2000, however, does
not include the wireless interface configuration functionality
that is included with the Wireless Zero Configuration Service
in Windows XP. Windows 2000 ONLY includes the 802.1x client
portion.
If you need help with any part of this setup at
any time, please contact the NVCC IT Help Desk by either calling
