Windows 98 does not have built-in support for 802.1x.
For laptops running Windows 98, a client must be installed to
allow the user to authenticate to the network. NVCC has
purchased the Aegis 802.1x client for Windows 98.
Unlike Windows XP, Windows 98 does not have integrated utilities
for configuration of wireless network adapters, so the software
that was provided with your wireless adapter card must be used
to configure the SSID for the NVCC wireless network. Before
beginning installation of the Aegis client, install the drivers
and utilities for your specific wireless network adapter.
The example on this page is for the Cisco Aironet 350 PCMCIA
card and the Aironet Configuration Utility (ACU).
The SSID for students is NOVA (case sensitive).
