F-1 students will need to take both classes for a total of 20 hours per week
Core Skills And Specialty ESL Program - Evening/Daytime/Weekend Classes
These sequential non-credit ESL courses offer the basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills that ESL students need to use English fluently. Successful completion of these courses is necessary before taking an ESL certificate program or individual advanced courses.
The ESL for Employment program is for non-native English speakers who wish to enter or advance in the U.S. employment market. During the program, students practice typical language tasks needed for jobs, such as communicating in a customer service position.
