The Virginia DMV has declared NOVA a center for this program. This course is offered at the Alexandria, Loudoun, Manassas and Woodbridge campuses. Successful completion of this National Safety Council Driver Improvement course awards five bonus points toward your driving record, if specific requirements are met. If you
currently hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), you must take a Commercial Driver Improvement class. You must attend the complete day and pass the exam to receive points. This course is offered as one eight-hour day (with a 30 minute lunch break). Register no later than Thursday at 3 p.m. It is recommended that you arrive15 minutes before class begins and bring your driver’s license and/or another form of picture ID. In order to prepare your Certificate of Completion, include your driver’s license number on the registration form and indicate the campus location, date and time. |
