Cisco Certified Network Associate Program
As a recognized Cisco Academy, Northern Virginia Community College, Manassas Campus, offers career training leading to the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) professional designation. Students must complete four courses in preparation for the CCNA exam #640-507.
- Cisco Network Router Training: Understanding and Designing Local Area Networks
- Cisco Installation and Management of Cisco Local Area Networks
- Cisco Router Operations: TCP/IP and IPX Basics
- Cisco Router Configuration and Support for Wide Area Networks
Courses are taught in a networking lab using Cisco equipment and Cisco developed courseware, by Cisco trained instructors. The entire CCNA program can be completed in two semesters. Students are required to spend additional time outside of class on reading assignments and additional study.
The breaker box is the "starting point" of all electricity within your home and the beginning of most electrical projects. Topics include basic electrical principles, components of the box, the service entrance cable, grounding bars and rods, tandem breakers and basic breaker functions, ground and arc fault breakers, panel box projects, and more.
