Practical nursing program (LPN)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are concerned with basic therapeutic, rehabilitative and preventative care for people of all ages and in various stages of dependency. Graduates of this non-credit program will be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
This program will provide you with an opportunity to enter the nursing field in three consecutive semesters of study.
The primary role of an LPN is to provide nursing care for clients experiencing common, well-defined health problems in structured health care settings. In their roles, as members of the disciplinary team, practical nurses actively participate in and subscribe to the legal and ethical tenets of the discipline.
