summer 2015 - ESL Class schedule

Placement Test: All new students must take the placement test before enrolling in classes. Students will be placed in appropriate levels based on the results of the test (an oral interview and a writing sample). Tests are given by appointment only. See General Admissions for the testing dates.

Tuition Refund: You will receive a full refund if you cancel your class within 7 days after the start date. No tuition refunds will be made after these dates. All refund requests must be made in writing (email to wddrefund@nvcc.edu) or in person. Refunds are issued as checks and are mailed to the student’s address payable to the student, regardless of who paid for a course. Refunds take about 2-4 weeks.

Failure to attend: If you are not in class by the refund deadline and have not contacted us, you may be dropped from your class without a refund. If you miss 20% of the class without ever attending, you will be withdrawn without a refund.

Books are required for most classes (see book list). Books are available at the Loudoun Campus bookstore room LR 135. For opening hours, call 703-450-2589.

Class locations are subject to change.  The college does not provide transportation to or between class locations. For maps and directions see Student Information.

New F-1 students joining the Summer ACLI Program at the Loudoun Campus are required to take an Intensive Speaking/Listening class and a Vocabulary/Spelling class for full-time study. Full-time tuition is $1,425. Students will be assigned a level-specific course after taking the placement test.

Returning F-1 students may enroll full-time or part-time according to their academic goals during the summer semester.
