What is NOVA's Employment Readiness?
Finding a job that is right for you takes time and effort. If you are a non-native English speaker and this is your first time looking for a job in the U.S., or if you are looking for job advancement, NOVA’s Employment Readiness course can prepare you for this challenge. During the course you will:
- Receive personalized job search assistance.
- Prepare a professional resume (CV).
- Practice job interviews.
- Complete online and paper job applications.
- Learn vocabulary related to the U.S. employment market.
- Improve your communication skills.
To participate in this course you need to:

- Show documentation for employment eligibility in the U.S.

The tuition is $225 for qualifying low-moderate-income applicants; otherwise the tuition is $520. Register and pay online. Call 703-450-2551 to register by phone.
