About Workforce Development
The purpose of the Office of Workforce Development at the Loudoun Campus of NOVA is to respond to the educational and training needs of its dynamic and diverse constituencies. This is accomplished through an array of comprehensive programs and services that facilitate learning and workforce development.
The Office of Workforce Development helps to plan and provides many types of programs to meet special interests within the community. Continuing Education programs are offered to enable you to pursue lifelong learning experiences. These include non-credit classes offered during the day and/or evening hours, on both weeknights and weekends. Business, industry and professional organizations contract with NOVA to provide special courses for their employees. These programs are taught on campus as well as at the organization’s workplace location.
A list of current Workforce Development courses is included on this website. Courses and workshops often result from requests and suggestions made by individuals or groups within the community. The topics vary from job skills to personal enrichment.Â
