Center for Employee Development

The Kay Haverkamp Center for Employee Development is part of the Northern Virginia Community College's, Annandale Campus, Office of Workforce Development.

The Center is dedicated to Dr. Kay Haverkamp, Founder and Director of Workforce Development and Continuing Education from 1991-1998.

The specialty of the Center is technology training. The Center offers computer hardware and software training with emphasis on:

• Employee retraining needs of business, industry, and professional organizations.
• Individual training needs of those interested in improving their technical skills, in learning new skills to stay current in the workplace, or for those interested in changing careers and entering the IT field ("TRiP" Technology Retraining internship Program).
