Food and/or beverages are not allowed in the Ernst Community Theater. If you are planning to serve refreshments in your event, you must reserve the Lower Gallery.

It requires approximately 20 man-hours to remove and reinstall the orchestra pit covers. It is possible to remove any of the 9 standard units (7'-10" x 3'-6") individually. When the pit covers are used as a floor for the orchestra, the pit floor is 7' below the stage.

There are 12 single speed motorized line sets controlled from a panel stage left. Batten distances upstage of the plaster line and their uses are as follows:
- 3'-3" electric truss (tribatten), included lights, plug strip and a black border cloth hanging off the front edge to mask
- 5"-2" empty batten
- 6'-1" empty batten
- 7'-6" movie screen, front or rear projection 15'-6"Hx20'-6"W
- 8'-4" empty batten
- 9'-2" black curtain
- 11'-9" electric truss (tribatten), same as (1)
- 14'-1" empty batten
- 15'-4" empty batten
- 16'-6" electric batten, plug strip and double hung strip lights

| Light board: | located in the enclosed control room at the rear of the main floor of the auditorium. It affords a good view of the stage |

| Dimmers: | Lee Colortran ENR dual 2.4K dimmer modules in 2-ENR 96 racks. The system is dimmer per circuit, 192 circuits, 15 of which are house lights. There are 152 dimmers (76 modules) that can be shifted to power the needed circuits (8 are needed for house lights) |

| Systems: | There is a Telex 4 channel headset system with 6 single ear headsets and 5 belt packs. There are plugs stage left and right, in the pit, on the back wall of the auditorium, at the follow spot booths in the balcony, and various other locations. There is a monitor system that can distribute sound on stage and announcements to the dressing rooms and a number of other locations. |
There is a theater sound system designed to provide quality sound to the auditorium. It consists of the following components:
- RAMSA audio mixer WR8118 - 8 mike/line inputs, stereo out, 4 group output jacks
- 2 JBL speaker clusters
- 4 UBL power amps model 6230
- 2 Shure SM 57 microphones
- 3 Shure SM 58 microphones
- 4 AKG 190 E microphones
Crossover, compressor, equalizer, patch panel, etc. together with mike inputs and speaker outputs are at several locations backstage and in the house. A cassette tape deck is available for recording or playback and a CD player is available for playback as well.

| Women's: | 200 sq. ft. dressing area plus 2 sinks, 2 showers (1 handicapped), 1 toilet for handicapped, 26 lockers 1'x3' and 24' of make-up counter backed with lighted mirrors |

| Costume Room: | contains heavy-duty washer and drier, and an ironing board and iron; there are no other costume supplies or equipment on site |
Green Room
A 240 sq. ft. room normally furnished with chairs, tables, and an upright piano.
Scene Shop
This is a large room, off-stage right adjacent to the loading door that serves as a storage room for theater equipment and incoming shows. There are no construction tools or supplies on site.
