New IRS Regulation of Tax Preparers

The IRS will be regulating tax preparers. Tax preparers must register with the IRS and will have until Dec. 31, 2013 to pass a competency test, and will be required to complete 15 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) to continue to practice.
