Interior Decoration Certificate Program

Completion of the Interior Decoration Certificate Program will give you the skills to work in a variety of settings including:

  • Upscale furniture or window treatment stores
  • Carpet, fabric and wall covering stores
  • As an assistant to Interior Decorators
  • As a representative for industry-related products
  • In Furniture & Finishes Libraries in Architectural & Design Firms

After gaining adequate experience in the field, you could eventually develop your own client base.

Required courses:

  • Basics of Interior Decoration & Design
  • Intermediate Interior Decoration & Design (offered in Fall 2012)
  • Advanced Interior Decoration & Design (offered in Fall 2012)

Individual courses may be taken without pursuing the overall certificate program with permission of the instructor.
