Interior Decoration Certificate Program
Completion of the Interior Decoration Certificate Program will give you the skills to work in a variety of settings including:
- Upscale furniture or window treatment stores
- Carpet, fabric and wall covering stores
- As an assistant to Interior Decorators
- As a representative for industry-related products
- In Furniture & Finishes Libraries in Architectural & Design Firms
After gaining adequate experience in the field, you could eventually develop your own client base.
Required courses:
- Basics of Interior Decoration & Design
- Intermediate Interior Decoration & Design
- Advanced Interior Decoration & Design (offered in Fall 2013)
Individual courses may be taken without pursuing the overall certificate program with permission of the instructor.
