Green Builder CollegeGreen Builder College is an online educational platform with a comprehensive curriculum about sustainable development that allows building professionals to augment their knowledge base, enabling them to thrive in the emerging green economy. Green Builder College provides professionals with essential tools to help them access new business opportunities and green collar careers.

All courses are taught by the leading builders, remodelers, designers, and building scientists within the green building space. Through Green Builder College, building professionals can become Green Builder Certified, providing them with credibility and validation in the marketplace. Green Builder College also offers continuing education courses, where building professionals can get continuing education units online.

The Green Builder College has solidified partnerships with organizations such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Institute of Building Design (AIBD), American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), American Society of Interior Designers (AIBD), Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), Building Performance Institute (BPI), and others to serve as a preferred education provider of green content for to the Office of Workforce Development.

Level I: Green Builder Certification/Fundamentals of Green Building
Covers the fundamental principles of green building related to energy efficiency, building durability, indoor air quality, resource efficiency, and water efficiency. Students completing this curriculum become Green Builder Certified and are qualified to sit for the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) exam and will qualify for American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) continuing education credits.

Level II: Houses that Work/Advanced Green Builder Certification
This curriculum was developed in partnership with the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA) and presents advanced building science and green building education. Students completing this curriculum become Advanced Green Building Certified. They can sit for the RESNET and BPI (Building Performance Institute) exams. The "HTW" curriculum also qualifies for CEU credits with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Institute of Building Design (AIBD), Building Performance Institute (BPI), National Association of Home Builders / NAHB University, the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC – LEED).

Environments For Living
This curriculum offers advanced housing science and green building topics as they relate to the MASCO Corporation’s Contractor Services / Environments for Living program(s), which delivers measurable results and benefits for homeowners, including limited guarantees on comfort and energy use.  Students completing the EFL curriculum are qualified to enter the EFL program(s) as well as sit for the RESNET exam. The curriculum is also approved for CEU credits for energy raters who are members of RESNET.
