Annandale.Campus

Located just two miles from the Capital Beltway in Fairfax County, the Annandale Campus is a busy and exciting place! From plays and concerts at the Ernst Community Cultural Center to intramural sports and student clubs, there are a myriad of activities for students in addition to an extensive offering of classes.

At the Annandale Campus, you can:

Seek an associate degree or certificate - and choose from a wide variety of different programs of study in both occupational/technical and college-transfer curricula.

Enroll in a full complement of Information Systems Technology courses, including networking, software development and Internet applications.

Get a head start on a health career. The fully-accredited Health Technologies program includes Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy and Emergency Medical Services, Health Information and Medical Laboratory technologies. Most programs include a clinical component, providing hands-on training and experience at area hospitals and other local health care facilities.

Study programs featured only at the Annandale Campus, such as Fire Science Administration, Hospitality Management and Travel and Tourism.

Take advantage of the newly opened Dorothy S. McDiarmid Building. It provides a spacious industrial kitchen for the Culinary Arts program, as well as expanded music and art facilities.

Use the College's Television Center, the production and distribution hub for televised courses and informational programs seen on NVCC-TV, the College's cable channel. The Television Center also operates an interactive video and teleconferencing center, which connects all NOVA campuses.

Earn a degree on the weekend! The Weekend College Degree program offers the opportunity to earn a degree in Liberal Arts or Business Administration in as little as three years by taking your classes on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays.
