Play a media file

There are two pages that allow you to play a media file, each containing three options for how to play the file.

1. From the course file listing page. Under each file listed in a course there will be three hyperlinks labeled as follows: �Details�, �Play� and �Play with captions�. Clicking on them will cause the video to play with the following options:
1. Details: Clicking this will take you to the transcript page. The video will be playing in an embedded player on the right-hand side of the page while the transcript will reside on the left-hand side.
2. Play: Clicking this link will open an external media player and the media will play externally.
3. Play with captions: Clicking this link will open an external media player, the media will play externally and there will be closed-captions provided if you have closed captions enabled for your media player (see the documentation for the media player you are currently using for details).

2. From the search results page. Under each file listed in a course there will be four hyperlinks labeled as follows: �Details�, �Play�, �Course� and �Play with captions�. All but the �Course� hyperlink enables you to play a file with the following options:
