Priority Registration

Priority Registration for Continuing Students
by Assigned Day – April 15-18

In an effort to give continuing students first priority, registration will now be conducted by assigned day. You can find out which day you can begin to register by logging onto NovaConnect: the Student Information System (Use the My NOVA tab on the NOVA home page) any time beginning April 4 .

You cannot change the day you are scheduled to begin. Your registration period begins at 12:01 a.m. on your assigned day and continues until May 5. Registration resumes for all students on June 3.

The following are the Priority Registration dates:

April 15 (Group 1)
April 16 (Group 2)
April 17 (Group 3)
April 18 (Group 4)

Find out which day you may begin registration by doing the following:

1. Log into NovaConnect: the Student Information System - https://nvcc.my.vccs.edu .
2. Select VCCS SIS89:Student Information System.
3. Under Self Service, click on the Student Center.
4. Click on User Preferences under the heading Personal Information and make sure that the Term is 2084 - 2008 Fall.
5. Return to Student Center.
6. On the right hand side, look in the Enrollment Dates box to see your enrollment appointment date.

Registration for all continuing students extends from April 19 through May 5.

Fall registration for all students -- continuing and new -- re-opens June 3.

Fall tuition payment is due by 5 p.m. August 1 and after August 1 tuition payment is due by 5 p.m. the next business day.  Payment cannot be accepted for FA 2008 courses until June 3, 2008.
