Each year, thousands of students successfully transfer from NOVA to George Mason University. NOVA works closely with Mason to offer students a seamless transfer process.

Mason Office of Admissions
Transfer information sessions are offered each fall and spring semester for prospective transfer students and start promptly at posted times. These sessions provide students with information about the procedure for applying as a transfer student and will help to ease the transfer process. Find out transfer application deadlines.

Mason Office of Admissions, Transfer Admission
This resource offers NOVA students critical information for successfully transferring to Mason. You are encouraged to review the entire page for admission requirements, application deadlines, transcript information and selective major requirements. Mason enrolls transfers for both the fall and spring semesters and expects applicants to meet their application deadlines of March 1 or October 1. Official transcripts from every college and university attended both in the U.S. or any other country are required for an admission review.

Mason Office of Transfer Services
The Office of Transfer Services provides transfer counselors to meet with prospective students and applicants Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on a walk-in basis. Be certain to bring copies of all college transcripts to your walk-in meeting.
