Guaranteed Admission to VA Universities STEM Clubs

Guaranted AdmissionsAs a NOVA student, you are guaranteed admission to a variety of four-year colleges and universities (including George Mason University, the University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary) when you meet the requirements of the written agreement between NOVA and that college.

SySTEMic Solutions promotes Guaranteed Admission for STEM students who are pursuing a four‐year degree or beyond.

STEM ClubsSTEM clubs enhance your passion and skill and develop leadership and management skills that look good on a college application.

SySTEMic Connections helps coordinate clubs in high school and provide materials for them, connecting STEM clubs to STEM Challenges and career activities.

GMU: ASSIP CSIIP Internships

George Mason

Are you an aspiring Scientist? The George Mason University Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) was established for high school and undergraduate students to gain hands-on laboratory experience, pivotal for college applications and resumes.

Students work alongside Mason researchers using state-of-the-art technology to solve hypothesis driven questions in multiple scientific disciplines. SySTEMic Solutions can sponsor you for this program.

CSIIP

Get ahead by getting an internship. CSIIP (Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program) links undergraduate STEM students to paid summer internship positions with companies throughout Virginia.

Pathway to the Baccalaureate  

Pathway to the Baccalaureate Your education options can get complicated after high school and you need support. Pathway to the Baccalaureate is an excellent support system that helps build and sustain an ongoing relationship between you and your counselors, instructors and peers beginning in high school, continuing through community college on to a four-year baccalaureate degree.
