Bekkah Lampe - STEM Coordinator Alexandria & ArlingtonBekkah Lampe joined SySTEMic Solutions in January 2017 as the STEM Education Coordinator at the Alexandria Campus. She has over ten years of experience working in informal learning institutions across the country, most recently as the Education Program Coordinator at the University of Kansas Natural History Museum. She has worked with diverse audiences and has produced a variety of educational content including lesson plans, online videos, summer camps, and workshops. Bekkah is particularly interested in increasing STEM education opportunities for underserved populations.
Bekkah holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a master’s degree in Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where her thesis was on vision evolution and behavior of ostracods.
