Adam, College Student
I recently graduated from Forest Park High School and I am now pursuing studies in Engineering at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.
During high school, I helped advise and found the Forest Park Robotic’s program and assisted with coordinating VEX Robotics events in the county. In addition, I served as president of Prince William County’s FRC team, SuperNOVA, guiding the team and helping to manufacture the robots.
I got involved with STEM activities in middle school and continued with them through high school and now in college, where I continue to volunteer at events and mentor teams both locally to Dartmouth and in Northern Virginia.
My involvement with SySTEMic Solutions and their summer robotics camps advanced my knowledge of robotics, made me a better competitor and honed my engineering skills. The programs also provided essential non-technical skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication, which enable me to excel and continue learning.
