student spotlight - adam, high school junior

Life is busy for me at Forest Park High School. Along with my regular classes and activities, I advise the robotics team and coordinate events for VEX. I also serve in a leadership role for the county FRC team, SuperNOVA, guiding the team and helping to build the robots.

Getting involved in STEM in middle school was a great start, but it was more important for me to keep engaged through high school and on to college where I hope to study engineering. I eventually want to have a career in engineering or education.

The SySTEMic Solutions summer robotics camps advanced my knowledge of robotics, made me a better competitor and honed my engineering skills. I also learned teamwork and how to lead. At times it has been tough and I have faced significant obstacles. However, I continue to work hard and have found that SySTEMic Solutions has opened the door to many opportunities for me.
