Tuition and Fees

Dependents of Military Service Members  

Military dependents may be eligible for in-state tuition rates starting July 1, 2006.  To determine your eligibility, students are asked to apply for admissions using the on-line application. Upon completion of the on-line application and the on-line application for in-state tuition rates, bring the following documents to any campus Student Services Center:

  1. A copy of military orders assigning the sponsor to an installation in Virginia (including the Pentagon, which is located in Virginia but has a Washington, DC mailing address)
  2. Your military dependent identification card
  3. Verification of housing in Virginia (letter from housing official, copy of utility bill, lease, etc.)
