With support from the Norther Virginia Education Foundation, the Schlesinger Arts Center opened two new art galleries in July of 2015. The Forum Gallery on the first level of the center is the first public area that you see when you enter the building. The two facing walls are ideal for large scale 2/D works of art.
The passage gallery begins at the top of the staircase on the second level of the center. The elegant line of the gallery optimal for medium sized 2/d works of art draws visitors down the hall to the jewel box Fisher art gallery.
These two new spaces broaden the center’s goal to bring the best of Washington DC area visual art to the Northern Virginia College. For local working artists please visit the blog on how to submit a proposal for an exhibition.
